Ivana Ulmanová, CEO Automotodrom Brno: “With great pleasure, I can confirm that Brno Circuit will host two race weekends of the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship this season. Our constant effort is to support motorcycle sport both at national and international levels. With the AAIMC joining the well-established domestic international motorcycle event held by the Road Racing Club, we are excited to host all racers and fans at our race track. Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship is a traditional event with a great history, and we will gladly welcome it back to our ground. I would like to thank all involved parties for their effort to bring the initial idea to a successful conclusion.”
Robert Žiković, AAMU President: “We are happy to announce that after a long time, especially in recent years working in difficult conditions caused by the Covid-19, Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship returning to Brno. After a lot of meetings, all together, Automotodrom Brno, AAMU and ACCR have found a solution to start the 2022 season in April and end in October in Brno. With Automotodrom Brno in the AAIMC Calendar it will have a higher value and another dimension. We hope that riders will enjoy the new season.”
Petr Civín, Chairman of Road Racing Club and Road Racing Section Chairman of CAMS: “It is always positive to announce such a meaningful partnership, and we are more than happy to integrate Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship into our race events. This connection gives the racers a unique opportunity to challenge themselves even more. At the same time, we definitely can expect a very friendly atmosphere in the paddock, which is the real value of our motorsport.”
Matěj Smrž, ACCR – CCR Chairman: “I am glad for the successful cooperation between Automotodrom Brno, Autoklub ČR, and AAMU. Both races in Brno, organized by Mr. Civín, are strong motorcycle events, so their inclusion in the AAIMC and MMČR calendars is definitely the right thing. I firmly believe that riders and fans will appreciate this agreement. There are not only four standard motorcycle racing classes, but we were able to agree on classes characteristic for road racing that are traditionally announced in Brno. I would like to thank all parties for their helpful approach. I look forward to the beginning of new cooperation.”
